Legal Issues In The Workplace

On March 30, the CCTI is offering a seminar that will explore relevant legal issues in the workplace and how managers and supervisors can prevent lawsuits or aid in cases filed against an employer by having the proper documentation of employee behavior and actions. The seminar will cover recent updates to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other federal and state employment legislation. Also addressed are Title VII and EEOC issues, Sexual Harassment, Diversity and Sensitivity, Retaliation and how the economy is affecting lawsuits against employers of all sizes.
