The City of Port St. Lucie’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Committee of St. Lucie County invite residents and visitors alike to the city’s Whispering Pines Park for Family Fun Day, honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. The event will be held on Saturday, Jan.16 from noon to 4:00 p.m.
Included in the day’s festivities are a step performance; a talent show for all ages; bounce houses; children’s activities; basketball games; great food and more. Best of all, admission is free. Bring your lawn chairs and relax while the children are entertained.
Whispering Pines Park is located at 800 S.W. Darwin Blvd.
