Join the Oxbow Eco-Center on Saturday, March 5 from 10 a.m. - noon as it teams up with the Treasure Coast Art Association to present a 3-D Zentangle art class.
This fun, nature-inspired class explores the art of ‘Zentangling,’ a structured form of doodling that uses repetitive and contained patterns within larger works of art. It got its name from the sense of centeredness and well-being it tends to inspire while practicing this art form. Art instructor Debbie Perdue takes it a step further by creating Zentangle art on three-dimensional objects like planting pots, picture frames, cloth, etc.
Don’t consider yourself an artist? Well don’t give up yet, because Zentangling may just be the art form that helps you release your creative spirit!
This program is appropriate for ages 10 and up. The cost is $20 per participant, which includes all supplies. Reservations are a must. For more information, contact the Oxbow at 772-785-5833, or send an email to oxbow@stlucieco.org, or visit www.oxboweco.com.
