The Capitol Steps are the only people in Washington who attempt to be funnier than the politicians! The Steps perform over four hundred hilarious shows a year, and no one and no issue is left unscathed! These former Capitol Hill staffers turned comedian-entertainers know better than anyone how to have some fun with the latest headlines! In fact, it may be the only time this year you find politics funny!

The Capitol Steps have been featured on three national PBS specials and numerous network and cable television programs. Their song parodies have been played on National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered,” in weekly spots on Radio America’s “Dateline: Washington” and WMAL’s “Stevens & Core,” and four times a year nationwide during NPR’s “Politics Takes a Holiday” radio specials.

As of 2008, the Steps consist of 26 cast members and five pianists. They perform public and private shows year round all over the country. They also appear at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington, DC every weekend.
